Today sony released the new 4.40 update. You need to install it or you cant go online.
Now the changes:
System changes:
Added support for the Sony RC-S380 (PaSoRi) NFC contactless IC cards reader
System stability has been improved.

Game Changes:
Issues on some game has been fixed

NOW THE IMPORTANT/SAD PART:
They fixed all ways to bypass games so all proxy servers wont work and patchblocker etc wont work too. Bypass modding is now dead and will (maybe) never come back.
This is a very unhappy moment in the modding community.This may just mark the end for Mw2 gsc modding.Now, people may try to get around this fix. But in my eyes. It's over. I am either going to learn cfg and maybe convert my dex jailbreak back to cex and update it then to 4.40 OFW, or move on to other cod games (cod4/5) This brings great sadness to all of us. We have all worked hard to make patches and Sony smashes it to pieces.

R.I.P Bypass, you will be missed;(

I know its the wrong forum but here the most people read it and stop making posts about the new update.

Wow, that's harsh. Why don't they just allow proxy servers. Not like it harms them. PS3 seems like a hacking system now, they are coming out with the PS4 so, why try?

does this mean now you cant bypass cod4 and all but cfg for waw and black ops 1 will work ?

you never can go online on bypass again. If you try to start a game on bypass you get kicked from psn and cant connect to psn again...when you leave the game you can connect back.
