Deck - Toy Machine, Baker, or Almost. (Been my best)
Trucks - Thunder
Wheels - Spitfire or Ricta
Bearings - Bones Reds
Grip tape - I use Jessup
Hardware - I'd say Destructo
Risers - I don't use Risers but It's W/e you like.

The deck size all depends on your shoe size. Having bigger feet means you're going to want a wider deck. Smaller feet I'd say you'd want a 7.5 or something.

This is my opinion. I don't skate much anymore but I always liked this set up.

I've had Elements, Bakers, Toy Machines, Enjoi, Plan B, and right now I have a Mullen Almost Double Impact.

For Shoes I like Zoo York and Nike SB.

Well if you dont want to learn how to do tricks all you really have to do is get a pro board i recomend
any Mini Logo board for 20 bucks its cheap and still really good for a first board. It doesnt really matter what trucks you get whatever you want and they usually last a long time. I would get Ricta wheels because they usually are really tough and great for sliding cause they dont break down quickly. and then i usually get lucky 7 bearings but whatever you want is good. if you need anythign else pm me
