Honestly, YouTube should get a redesign that's more in line with Google's other new products/redesigns, like Google Now, Google Keep, or Google Maps for iOS. But this isn't it. This design looks horrible.

Yes, The new layout is terrible

I still don't see why people don't like it soo much, I think it's prety nifty.

I personally am not a big fan with the new layout, as it has really decreased the ammount of customizability, which is one thing that really made channels stand out.

They should gather up some people from the COMMUNITY that are highly respected and looked up upon for their opinions or help on a new layout if they are planning to make one. Designers would love this because they know exactly what people like and so in turn everyone else would probably like the layout too, hypothetically. Majority of the people would probably like this so that would be a plus for the community.

I now have a new theory of why this is happening go look at the update on this topic. Thanks.

I think the old design had a lot more too it then this new ones does, now everyone has to make new backgrounds unless you decide not to change If im correct.
