-kik wroteIshcabible wrote You really won't find anything else for $5 that isn't a lot worse. Its bass is muddy and undefined (but there's hearty amount of it), but again, it's $5.
Out of 10 what would u rate them?
For the price or out of everything I've heard?
For the first one, probably like an 8. I like the Phillips SHE3580 more for like two more dollars. Out of everything I've ever heard, like a 1.5. Still better than the Beats Solos though, which to me is a .5.

Skullcandys have really dropped in quality recently; only the real expensive ones are decent. Since this one is only $5, I guess it's worth it. Just don't get Beats.

Why waste your money on horrible headphones like that? Buy an expensive pair that aren't gonna break in the first month of using them.

...it's $5. Sure, an Xeport 5010 would last exponentially longer, but it's $30, which the OP may or may not have.

It's really a combination of luck and care. I have a pair of headphones that have been working since the 70's. A month after I bought them, (I babied these like no other too), they stopped working on one side. Sometimes, solder joints (like Skullcandy's shoddy QC will show) will fail without any warning. Sometimes they'll work forever.
