hey guys so i just made a youtube channel and it looks like this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

rather than this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

how do i change it to that so i can add a youtube background? (im pretty new to youtube lol)

its because you clicked to view his channel on his updates go back onto your channel and it should be back if not then message me

on ur channel it will say you are using new design at the top in a blue line and it will say learn more and if you click it, it will take you to a new page u scroll all the way down and you will see something that says you are using the new youtube layout, you can switch back to the old one if youd like then click switch back and boom there you go hope this helped.

the new one is better for backgrounds it looks more like a partnered one even if you arnt partnered

Youtube just did a recent update! Things change too quick if you ask me but yeah you're on the new design!
