Personally I use the HD PVR 2, but it's your opinion on what you prefer.

Elgato for sure. Much more convenient than an hd pvr. Uses HDMI so it saves you the mess of cords compared to the HD PVR 2. The recording has flash back recording, so if you miss something in your recording, you can go back in the timeline to that point and record whatever you missed. It is very efficient product and is preferred by many big youtubers.

It shouldn't "Blow up"? lol and I'd choose Elgato, although I haven't used either.

Elgato,

Smaller,
Less Cords,

Get the elgato. JUST REMEMBER.

If you are recording, trickshots, feeds, or anything for episodes, oces etc.

MAKE SURE YOU RECORD IN 59.94FPS
