I've heard better reviews on the Elgato more than the PVR.

I prefer the HD-PVR it doesnt seem to lag as much as Elgato

Legato capture card it's more easily to hook up and less wires and a lot better and easy.

I have had an elgato before and i now have a PVR and tbh there pretty much the same:/

Both are okay, get a Roxio Game Capture HD PRO that's the best quality capture card.
