Real question, though I could just be missing something from the get go for I am not a neurologist or anything of the sort, but here it is: If the brain controls the body, what controls the brain? Just something I have been trying to figure out on a scientific level. I understand how your body and brain tell you that you are hungry, but what tells me to write something down when it's not a life necessity? Could that be some evidence of a soul? Can the brain be just a storage space for the soul? Is it just the command center of a "robot" for your soul to control? It is said that a soul/spirit is a mass of energy. Do our souls use this energy to control at least the parts of our brain that do voluntary actions? I do things because I want to. I mean, I can wave my hand in the air for no other reason than the fact that I want to. Where does this want come from? How does that want tell the brain to do it? It's all very confusing for me.

I do believe in a soul, but I'm trying to look at this from a science side. I believe everything in this world can be scientifically explained, but we just don't know everything yet. We may never know everything. Things may just be too complicated for our understanding, or maybe we just don't have enough time. Just something to ponder.

Again, I could just be missing something since I am not a scientist of any sort. I have searched it up and found nothing. People think they know, but then they get shut down by others. So it's safe to say not many people know, if any.
