Hey guys im going to upgrade my graphics card on my outdated PC. I have a Compaq SR5219UK which is about 6/7 years old.

I'm replacing the integrated graphics card with a pci express one. However i've been looking and there are different types of PCI Express 1/2/3 etc... it says i can upgrade to pci express x16 which i don't understand what that means..

This is the card i was thinking of getting as i am tight on money and there is no point spending anymore on what i will use it for.

Can i get this card or not??

There is no sense in upgrading a PC this old at all.
