Correct me if I'm wrong but i think if you have a static ip you can reset your router and the ip will change. But if you have dynamic ip you will need to call the isp

a static ip does not change a Dynamic ip changes as its release time runs out.
you can plug directly into your modem through ethernet with your computer and run the command ipconfig /release all
and then ipconfig /renew all
