I'm sorry but do you watch Premier League football, and not just highlights on Match of the Day?
Other than Mata, Lampard has been Chelsea's best player. He's an incredible asset to the team and if they lose Lampard, it'll be a bad day at Chelsea. (I'm an Arsenal fan so it isn't easy me saying that).
Yes i watch football every week. AHe's only made 2 assists this season, only played half of chelseas PL games even though he hasnt been injured(Apart from a week or two in october). He's scored 12 goals and 5 of these have been from the penalty spot. Also many of his appearences have been from the bench and Benitez tend to play Ramires, Oscar, Mikel and Luiz ahead of him
I think many deserves it ahead of him. Carrick, Fellaini, Cazorla, Michu(if he's listed as a midfielder.
He's Chelsea's top scorer this season, he's been their best player as I've said. Yes, he hasn't started every game, but that doesn't determine his performances?
Yes, Carrick has player very well, maybe he'll be on the bench instead of Lampard. Also, Fellaini has been playing as an attacking midfielder this season, not a defensive one, whereas Lampard when he's played, he has been sitting behind Oscar/Moses, Hazard and Mata.
Also, Michu has been playing as a striker. After reviewing your statement, I've come to the conclusion you haven't watched much football. You don't even know where half the players have played.
Oh shut up. I wasnt talking about specifically, the BPL TOTY in recent years has been the 4-4-2 formation, and the two central midfielders can be either attacking or defensive.
Michu played as an attacking midfielder at the start of the season, behind graham. Get your facts right.
He played like 3 games behind Graham. Then Laudrup decided to move Michu upfront and he started scoring and he cemented a place in the first team up there. That's partly the reason why Graham left for Sunderland, he wasn't getting first team football.

3 games is a bit of an understatement though

Anyway, agree to disagree. You have your opinion, I have mine. Lampard has been Chelsea's best played - bar Mata.

Fair enough, no need to argue when its all based on opinion.
