Hey guys so earlier today my xbox' dvd drive broke (It's a Hitachi and keeps displaying "Play DVD", I have a few spare 360 drives ( Samsung and Lite-on ) and I was wondering if I could still spoof one of them to replace my broken one or do I still have to buy a new Hitachi?

Any help at all is appreciated

you could but you cant play online its an automatic bann

PLaying online isnt an issue even if its for offline that would be great, I tried to spoof the drive to a Sammy ms28 and when I try to play a game it just makes the xbox logo appear and it doesn't go away... either that happens or the screens dims black then it boots me back to the dashboard?
