Will it be hackable? Yes if you go back in history no business has put 100% great materials into a product so most likely they wont spend millions on army grade security for a gaming console. The secen is just like phones the most advance phones out can be rooted / jailbroke i.m.o

Absolutely not with the new technology it is going to be twice as harder to "hack" ,or "mod" the new xbox. Everything is gonna be locked down. My opinion. There could be a way ,but way to early to do anything like that.

Everything will eventually get tampered with its just when it will happen and how long it takes for Microsoft to fix it.

People say the Xbox 720 is supposed to always be connected online, even when it's turned off. It will only play games and stuff when connected to an internet source so I think bypassing Microsofts online security would be really hard.

I don't understand the "Always Online" concept, I mean what if you haven't got it hooked up with WiFi or a LAN cable, then WHERE would it get it's internet connection from? Only if it has it's own mobile internet service, which I doubt..
Ps. You can always jam the signal so it is never impossible to hack it, I even think that the online connection will actually be exploited, for example if they forward the M$ servers to a hacked one, it would be possible to load hacked firmware through updates

Emblem wrote There were rumours I think of Microsoft employing hackers and modders apparently. They could be using them to play around with the console and make it harder to crack?I believe this is true. Makes sense after all I mean, they need to know what the developers of these mods/hacks know.

I also believe this is true, people will always find a way. No matter how many sleepless nights it takes.
