It looks pretty cool and if you really made that flare from scratch, its pretty good!

Are you trying to set that as your computer background or what?
(most computers don't allow a .gif background so that might be why it converts to .jpg)

For me it's to bright and the eye is way over done but darken it a bit and fetch the blue out more.

Can't. I use my iPad now because my laptop broke, and as I'm aware of, imgur is the only website with an iOS app.

I'll look into that. The trouble is, I have loads of pictures on my imgur account that I don't want to leave behind. +Rep for being helpful.

It was just a suggestion since imgur kept changing it into a JPEG.
