Hey everyone, I'm currently in the process of designing and coding a website to use as a portfolio as I'm off to University next year and I thought it would be more "professional" for me to have one.
This is just the homepage at the moment but if you could give me any advice or constructive criticism I would greatly appreciate it...
The images that are there are place holders and not the final images, although they are representative of the final pieces. Also they're not all going to say just "Journal" and "Portfolio" on them.
Thanks

Easy on the drop shadow. Work on it everyone starts somewhere and works their way up. Overall site design is bad. Take a look at sites like Dribbble or Behance, browse through web designs on those sites and see different types of great functioning website desgins.
