Hey guys Eden here, so yeah ive been looking around ttg, and noticed this was a very active section, so i have decided to make a post on tips on clans in general and youtube clans, as ive been in many good clans, ive recently just left Pez @ 15.8k subs, ive also been in BoLT @ 45k Subs And TaMe @ 44k Subs, so i wanted to give you some tips about clans.

Clan Leaders:

First of all, are you looking to lead a clan that is active on youtube ? Well read this. If you want to start a youtube clan, you should always have 2-3 people to start it with, if you are starting it on your own 9/10 times it will not go far, you need people to help you get everything started, find members ect, trust me, ive tried making clans on my own in the past and it just not work. It also helps to have a inspiration, something to aspire to, a goal, if not what is the point ? Anyway after you have got some people to start it with, come up with a original name, the less letters possible, the better, after you have done that pick a good channel name, for example, FaZeClan, short and simple, you dont want it to long as no one will find your channel.

Recruiting ? Do not recruit people just because they record, if they are not loyal, if they are not good there is no point, to recruit people, search across youtube for some good 'free agents' there are alot of channels that upload 'free agents' videos so your best of searching them, for example, he is one, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] just search these for new free agents and just send them a pm or add their skype or whatever.

Know what your clan is going to be ! For example, a feeding clan, a trickshot clan, a gamebattles clan ect ... if you get to like 1k or something and then suddenly change your content your fans may not like what you have chosen to do and choose to unsubscribe and watch someone elses videos, and you dont want this to happen.(Not Essential)

Also you want to get a 'protector' because i have made a few clans and got two 1k and then been hacked, there are too many hackers nowadays and you dont want all your hardwork and effort to just be taken away, its not nice, trust me, also know your members, dont just recruit someone because they are just good, or record, you want to have fun aswell as have a good clan, if not your clan will most likely end due to arguments or disagreements, also make sure they are loyal !.

One of the other most important things is to Be Active other wise your fans may move on thinking you no longer upload and then you are loosing out on views which could of easily been kept.

Another important thing is to make members feel at home, for instance in pez i did not at all feel part of the group, which is why i left, and you dont want all your members leaving because of this.

Also make sure to recruit all types of people, you dont want just players, you want
editors, graphics designers, managers, staff, protectors all aswell as players.

It is also good to have a upload schedule, other wise your uploads will be all other the place and your fans wont know when to expect a upload and will not know when to come on the channel, which may loose you some views, for example upload every two days with a ep, and maybe a teamtage or whatever every two weeks.

And one of the most important things is, you have to stick with the clan, even if its not going so well straight away, it will get better ! there is no point making a clan if you are not willing to stick with the clan.

Be Original, Be Creative this will help you gain subs, starting off is the hardest thing, how do you get recognized you ask ? Well first of all get enough clips for either a amazing teamtage or promo, make sure the edit is original, it will help if you have known managers to help you, but trust me if you have a good first video, it will help you in the future, and if you need subs, there are people and channels that can help you out, there are cinema's and community channels meant for clans where they upload your vids and help you gain views, for example, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] , all you need is patience, good content, and good connections ;)

Free Agents:

As a free agent you are always looking for a good clan to join right, well sometimes you should look for newer clans that are not as 'known' as others, dont get me wrong its good to be in a clan that are known in the community, but sometimes its good to be in the clan from the start, if you are in from the start you will feel as you are a part of the group where as if you join a big clan which has alot of members you may feel like you are not.

Another good thing to keep in mind when joining a clan is, are you going to stay in the clan and what type of clan are you looking for ? for example, there are feeding clans, trickshotting, mlg, ect and if you join a trickshotting clan that say they are both feeding and trickshotting, when your a feeder, they may not have many feeders in the clan, so you will not be playing with the clan much, therefore making you feel like your not part of the clan, and you may become inactive.

Cant find a clan ? well as with clans there are community channels that can help you out, they can link you clans, they can upload your videos, there are also other channels that help clans, so if you go onto them, have a look at them, see which you like and just get in touch with them you may get in, a few example are, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
