I believe it should be legal in all fifty states. It's their life, let them enjoy it.

This is how I see it. I have no problem with Gay marriage but I see a lot of comments why its not banned in some states.

I guess we are still going as a Christian Country and gay marriage is against the bible. So I guess some states still go by that. Im not sure just my opinion.

It's already legalized in Canada, and I think it should be legalized throughout the States as well. Honestly, I don't truly "support" gay marriage, but who are we to say that gay's can't get married. If they want to get married, then so be it. People might say that it says in the Bible that homosexuality is a sin. Then again, not everyone is a Christian, and to restrict other people's rights because of what you personally believe in is ignorant and moronic.

There's nothing wrong with being gay and wanting to marry the person you love.

What's the point of wanting world peace if you're standing outside of a church or wherever holding signs saying Gay Marriage is wrong.

Personal view point: I don't care about your sexuality since it does not matter and I am
an atheist but same sex marriage does not add up.

People may not be all religious but marriage is a religious event.
If you are Christian then it doesn't make sense to get married since the Bible looks down on homosexuality.

I honestly don't see anything wrong with gay/lesbians getting married. It's their life, they're not hurting anyone by getting married or being together. What's the harm in it? Is the world gonna end? Are we all gonna die? Are they gonna take over? I think.....not.

As for the Bible..it says you shall not cheat, steal, have sex before marriage, etc. Do not tell me you have not done any of those.

As for people saying, "No they can't get married, they can't reproduce, human population will die off." What about the infertile people? They can't have kids...obviously. There are a lot of people who can't have kids...do we tell them they can't get married? No.

As for people saying the gay people are "complaining and whining", what are they complaining and whining about? The fact that they would like to have rights just like everyone else? Gay couples can not be on each others' taxes, that's big for a lot of people. They aren't considered family in most hospitals and if their loved one was in there....they wouldn't be allowed to even see them. Imagine if the love of your life was dying and you were told you couldn't see him/her. A lot of insurances won't allow gay couples to be on each others' insurance. Those are only some rights and there are plenty more. Yes, gay people don't want attention, but they want to be heard and to have the same rights as everyone else.

Gay people are not "infected", I don't even know where that came from and I won't go into that because it's too stupid.

People can't help if they're gay or straight..they're born that way and it's been proven. I have several people in my family that are gay as well as friends and their siblings are gay. Yes...brothers and sisters are gay (as in 2 or 3 in one family).

For those of you who are so against it....what if your kid grows up and realizes he/she is gay and is so scared to come out because of what you're pounding into his/her head? You know what's going to happen? He/she is going to become suicidal because he/she cannot help how he/she is and doesn't know what to do. That's why you see so many teen suicides. These kids only get bullied because the bullies' parents are so anti-gay that they teach their kids it's wrong so the kid goes and makes fun of anyone who is.

It's kind of funny how I see so many guys AND some girls against someone being gay but yet they love watching two girls get it on (yes, even the girls, too)......hello? They're either bi or lesbians. The girls aren't so much against it because most of them love hanging with the gay guys since they're almost pretty much like one of them.

This whole thing is just like the blacks wanting equal rights back in the day but look where we are now. The world is changing, people. Gonna have to get used to it. Whether you agree with it or not, that's your opinion.

Oh, I forgot to add...have you noticed how many states allow you to marry your first cousin? Why can you marry someone that is BLOOD but not someone of the same sex?
