I would get windows 7 instead of, and get atleast a semi-modular power supply, it helps so much when it comes to wire management. Also you never want to cheap out on a power supply, because if it short circuits or something it could fry everything connected to it, also I would go with 7970, that's what I have in my system ATM. And AMD's drivers are a little more optimized at the moment for the best FPS

also what do you mean by the 7970? also what power supply would you recommend?

alright thanks ill update the list in a minute.


I would stick with windows 8, it's a new and fresh OS and pretty cool. I don't think any games have compatibility issues with it and you may even get a whopping 1 fps increase compared to windows 7 in some games! But yea go with the 7970 instead and besides that everything else looks great.

Edit: The psu you currently have is fine. But a modular psu would help with cable management.
