Satanism wrote I would get windows 7 instead of, and get atleast a semi-modular power supply, it helps so much when it comes to wire management. Also you never want to cheap out on a power supply, because if it short circuits or something it could fry everything connected to it, also I would go with 7970, that's what I have in my system ATM. And AMD's drivers are a little more optimized at the moment for the best FPS
alright thanks ill update the list in a minute.

I would stick with windows 8, it's a new and fresh OS and pretty cool. I don't think any games have compatibility issues with it and you may even get a whopping 1 fps increase compared to windows 7 in some games! But yea go with the 7970 instead and besides that everything else looks great.

Edit: The psu you currently have is fine. But a modular psu would help with cable management.
alright thanks i think im going to go with a modular and also what are you talking about 7970? is it the processor or memort or what? sorry lol.

The 7970 is a graphics card. The graphics card you currently have in the build is a 670.

Here are some 7970s.

If I were you I would get the ssd later and spend the money on a 7970, but that's just me.

Edit:

- If you want to get the ssd still, then I would get it off amazon since it's currently about $10 cheaper than newegg.

- For the 1tb HHD r00t linked, use this code EMCXTVL32 on newegg to get $10 off until 4/4.

- With the $20 saved, you could buy the case you originally linked.

I would change the operating system to Windows 7. Main reason being is because windows 8 can come to being a bit of a pain running things like minecraft, pirated things etc.

Second thing I would change is the graphics card. You would be saving your self some money if you buy a card a bit cheaper but runs really good. I suggest the GPU im getting. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Third thing I would change is the hardrive, this may cost you a tiny bit more but its worth it. Western Digital has a great name when it comes to hardrives so I suggest this one. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Maybe change the case to a full tower? Just saying because that motherboard is massive.

Just looked up the minecraft thing, that's interesting. I don't play minecraft and I don't know if the OP plays it, but I still don't think it's worth getting windows 7 over 8 just for minecraft. My pirated stuff works fine on windows 8, and a full tower isn't needed for the motherboard.
