Well If you like biking I do not recommend kink. It all depends on how much you spend on the parts and really how you ride. Say for instance you buy a kink whip and you weight around 180-220 pounds the chances of any of the parts snapping is extremely high.

I would never tell anyone to buy a kink because even there high end parts are very unstable. If your looking to lighten your bike I suggest you start with building your own custom rims.

Here is a website where you can safely order bike parts and have them shipped to you in 3-5 business days.

You can search there site on which parts you like best. My recommendation to you would be purchasing Shadow Vultus forks. I've had them for over 2 years haven't snapped them once or bent them. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

If you want an amazing hub that will take little maintenance, I would recommend the Profile SS Mini Cassette Hub [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Sure it costs a lot of money but it almost lasts forever and it's light. If you purchase that hub you should have the rim custom built either by the professionals at the site or yourself. I had the website build my back rim. It was the same profile hub, laced to Sapim stainless steal (Also known as the leader for the strongest spokes), laced to an Alienation Felon Rim.

If you wanted to build a back rim like that you'll have one of thee lightest back rims and one of the strongest. Here's my build for the parts I recommended.

Out of all the bike brands I recommend Cult, Sunday, Verde, United and FIT. Anything We the People sucks and believe is insanely terrible.
