Hey, I have to write a paper on why school should start later. I think that school should be similar to an adults work day. What do you think?

I disagree. I would hate getting out of school at 8 because then i would lose my whole entire day.

Students will have more time to sleep and wake themselves up so they will be more mentally prepared to learn.

It'd give students a longer sleep thus motivating them and encouraging them more.

It would give kids a chance to actually sleep in on the weekdays and give them time to fully wake up and not rush to get ready in the morning. And it will also cut down on traffic if you drive to school. All the adults will already be at work and you will not have to fight morning traffic like I do.

Young peoples brains aren't as active during the morning so less information will be taken in.

It offers students a great amount of reset and procrastination on any HW they didn't finish.
