i recopied from actual disc and tried many different patches im almost positive its the default xex mp i got from someone

This happended to me, I just downloaded and new patch and default_mp.xex and then did the TU6 and it worked fine.

Make sure it's all downloaded! Really, HDD might be full, may need to load it on a disk drive and play it off there. Or get new default_mp.ff if the whole games on there.
