Mafeia wrote Hp Pavilion 17'3 screen! 750GB Hardrive 8GB ram upgradable to 16. It's a great laptop! i can play skyrim and crisis 3 ultra settings.

I laughed when I looked up the first HP pavillion 17.3 laptop on Google I could find..

$1000 and Intel HD Graphics 4000, it's garbage.
try alienware? I dont know.

Alienware is overpriced garbage.

I swear, I found an ASUS laptop with better specs that was $1000 less, no joke.
im not suprised i know nothing about laptops im all desktops.

Ok well let me lays things out for you.

First: High end gaming laptops are going to be more expensive than $700. If you want a machine that is going to be playing AAA games, this year and a few years into the future you are probably going to be laying down at least 900-1200. $700 is going to get you a nice ultrabook at best, but there is a very low chance that it will get you a dedicated gaming laptop that will actually out perform or even come close to its desktop counterpart.

Second: Never, ever, EVER, buy alienware! Dell (the owner of alienware) has recently announced their prediction of the crash of the PC gaming market. Their customer service is garbage and the build quality is shoddy. Why would you want such a bad company backing your expensive investment. If you want a nice looking laptop with flashing lights hold on ill give you an example but just dont waste your money with alienware.

Third: Good laptop companies that are tried and true consist of ASUS, MSI, Sager, and a few others. I personally own an MSI but my brother and friends own sagers. I would highly suggest any of these three brands to you as your choice for laptop company.

Finally:
Here are some examples of "future proof" laptops
- GE60 0NC-498UShttp://www.msimobile.com/level3_productpage.aspx?cid=6&id=388
This laptop is probably your best choice for affordability and power, 2gb of vram on a 15.6 inch screen is plenty to run any game today on max specs.

-My personal laptop: GT70 0NE-609US

Now I realize that this is probably way out of your price range but what I want you to understand is that for around 1.5k you could build a desktop PC with the same specs.

Anyway, im sorry if this post is long, I just like to try to do quality work when I help people. If you have any questions feel free to ask me any time.
