Right I want more gems on clash of clams and to do so you need to pay real money and I was wondering if I jail break would I be able to get as many as I want without paying. I have never done this before and I have back my data so of it goes wrong I can just undo it

Well you can't even hack or get gems in Clash of Cclans without paying with actual money so no you can't jailbreak and get free gems.

Most likely the game is server sided. So, If you mode the game with iFile and then play it, the server checks with your save file and if it doesn't match up it corrupts or puts it back to what was saved on the server.
