Gabardine wrote If I were you, I wouldn't change the cpu. Upgrade to 8gb ram, get a 1tb 7200rpm hdd for general storage and buy an SSD to install your OS on.

Ok thanks man, I will consider that

Upgrade your ram to 8gb and change your processor to a I53570K, if you want to you could also increase your HDD.

If you want to get a second 660ti get a new PSU also. You defiantly should upgrade your ram to 8GB. You could get another harddrive if you need the space. Some might say a slightly better CPU but you don't have to. If I were in your shoes I would first get some more ram. I a PSU with more power and another 660 ti for SLI.

It's a decent build. Not ideal as it is, but there's nothing that needs replacing. Keep the 660 Ti and overclock it, keep the 2500K and overclock it, buy an SSD and move your Windows installation and applications to it (re-installation would be ideal), and buy another identical stick of RAM.

Could you send me the links with the idea parts on either amazon.co.uk or scan.co.uk or any other pc component retailer that you reccommend, thanks

For the SSD: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (Hard to recommend anything cheaper, to be honest)

And for the RAM, you'll have to find out what stick you have and buy another. If you have two 2GB sticks, you can buy two more but make sure it's the same kit.

Other upgrades don't make much sense. Is the 660 Ti overclocked not cutting it? For 1080p at 60 Hz, it would take a game like FC3, BF4 (predicatably), or Crysis 3 to really bring it to its knees.
