Hi does any one no if a birth certificate count as a government id

Yes, but it is not photo ID, which might be necessary for whatever you are doing that will require a ID.

I thought a Government ID was the type you needed to get into the White House, if you mean a general ID for getting into clubs etc then yes it should suffice if you don't have anything better.

I'm going to say no because you'll probably need a photo on it, a good type of ID to use is your passport or drivers license if you have one.
