Do infections on mw2 still only last a few games or rounds, or do they last forever now until you go to main menu or dashboard?

I think they last forever until dash board or main menu. I think any way I played about 12 games and still had my pro mod and big uav.

Radar Always On Only Lasts For 1 Game Of Wateva, Or 1 Round Of SnD.
But Anyways I Can Re-infect Myself So I Dont Mind.
