Alright so i had a follower and said to go away and then later i got him back and he is invisible i cant see him and now when i ask someone to follow me they just say looks like you have got someone with you already its so annoying

What follower was it? Could be quest related, it sounds like it.

sounds quest related, i had the same problem with serana, they normally come back if you fast travel somewhere or do a quest involving them

quest related or you asked them to wait, you forgot about them and they returned to their original location but still are your follower
