Concealed carry is fine as long as they have a license. I have seen some videos where a bank or gas station was getting robbed but because someone had a concealed weapon they either shot the robber and the robber ran away, was shot and killed or injured so they could be detained until police arrived. I would much prefer open carry(Only if your psychologically fit to carry one) instead of concealed carry because who is going to try and commit a crime if they see a pistol on your side or an AR-15 on your back.

No affect. I live in Colorado which recently banned mags over 15 rounds. I have many M4 mags 30+ rounds. Most gun owners are responsible. ( Except the places like Detroit, Chicago ). I have an M1 Garand with near 20,000+ rounds. We bought a lot because 1). Those rounds are not really made anymore. 2) Who knows what will happen in the future. Gun control is a joke like the war on drugs. Its not going to happen. Even with a ban on all weapons and accessories people will still be able to acquire weapons and ammo.

Pizzas arrive to your house quicker than the police do. Shooting someone in self defense isn't sinking to any level. Protecting you and your family at any cost with any weapon you can get your hands on isn't sinking to any level. It's manning up to the dangers at hand. Seeing how the police shot up 2 different vehicles (which happened to be the wrong vehicles) while searching for Dorner, it's just a smarter move for the civilians to have the guns anyway. Guns help save more lives than they help killing the innocent.

Alright, the US' murder rate is 4.8 per 100,000 people.
Sure, that's higher than some countries.
Like Germany, but I think theirs might have gone down quite a bit from one point in it's History... moving on;

If you want to decrease murder rates you take away gang violence.
Gangs kill each other over drugs, this type of violence spiked during Prohibition and dropped after, then it spiked again when Nixon instigated the drug war.
The Government needs to spend it's time getting rid of current black markets by ending the war on drugs, not by trying to change gun laws.

It didn't work in the 20's with prohibition and it won't work now.
