Hey guys, so my family is looking to buy a PC to put in the living room for just general use, no gaming or rendering or anything like that, and I figured it would be cheaper to build one anyway. Is it? And if it is, can you guys help pick the components? Budget is $300-$350, thanks!

330 Almost in the middle there for you, it will do everything you want a home PC to do and at a good speed, if you would like more ram or larger storage let me know and I will be able to swap that part out for something a bit more.
