How can i build this wall faster?

Is there anyway i can do it with lava and water or something, or even automatic.

Select a region and then do // fill <lava block id> <block radius>

The contraption you would have to build to make the wall would take longer than manually placing each block. If you want, you can make a quick bukkit server on your computer and use the world edit plugin to make the wall.
