epiicballer24 wrote What do yall think will happen to the xbox 360. I think xbox 360 servers will be shut down were everybody that wants to play xbox live has to buy the xbox 720 system i hope this doesnt happen but theres a big chance it will. Leave comments what yall think.

Well instead of just making random guesses or saying stuff, why don''t you check the precedence. What happened when the 360 came out? Or you could just use common sense. Xbox (Microsoft) makes how much money off of online services? So why would they shut down the 360 servers? Besides that, the new xbox comes out this Christmas, correct? So if there are games out with season passes and such that don't expire until after that, then how are the going to shut down the servers? Or why would they bother making anymore multiplayer games if the servers will be down soon? Obviously the servers will be shut down eventually, but most likely not until the 360 becomes obsolete and Microsoft stops making money, which let's be honest, won't happen anytime soon.

So next time, please actually take time to think about what you are posting, so then you at least have something to support what you are stating instead of making random claims.

Talking about random claims.

Where did you find this Christmas release date from?
The 360 was released on November 22, 2005. Not really Christmas...
The Xbox was released on November 15, 2001. So anyone was common sense, like you keep mentioning above..
Could see a speculated date of November would much more sense then a December date.

TWISTED01 wrote its going to happen like it happen when the xbox 360 first came out- u just transferred your old account , and have it in your new console.

No. This is different. 10's of millions of people have Xbox 360's, Microsoft won't do that.

Use common sense people, sheesh. Seems we lack it quite a bit.

Are you sure you want to keep butting heads with me? After all your claims I have picked apart, this is the only thing you can say?
Sure all the other Xbox's released in November correct? What month comes after November? Which holiday is in that month.
It doesn't have to come out on December 25th to be a Christmas release. They release it mid or late November, that way they can have it out for Christmas, the biggest consumer holiday. Trying to get technical will simply make yourself look stupid.

I don't think they will. I don't want to get a new console because I'll be going to college, but the new red dead might only be for the 720.

More people might stick to the 360 because the 720 doesnt really bring many new features with it. plus they might not want to buy the 720 depending on the cost of it.
