That's not true. It takes approximately 8 and a half minutes for light from the sun to reach us here on Earth. So, if the sun disappeared, we wouldn't even know for 8 minutes. And at that point, the Earth would not instantly freeze, the Earth would slowly cool down over a period of hours, not minutes.

Our sun is not big enough to go supernova, and therefore will not turn into a black hole, as only the biggest stars that produce the biggest supernovas, sometimes called meganovas, produce black holes.

When our sun dies, it will swell up until it engulfs our solar system approximately up to jupiter, will then dissipate and will leave a white dwarf behind.

N.B - Our sun is actually a smaller star than average.

We would not "jump" out of our orbit. Assuming the sun just instantly disappeared, the Earth would continue in a (relatively) straight path, on a tangent to our circular orbit, in the place we were when the sun disappeared.

It's -180C (-290F) in the shade in space. So it would probably be colder. The heat retained from the sun in Earth wouldn't stand a chance.

The radiation from the Earth would keep us heated at a slightly lower temperature than normal (but survivable). This would last for about a year. If you would have watched vsauce's video on this then you would know what happens!

Your reply is very misguided. You are right that it takes 8 minutes for light to reach Earth from the sun, therefore, when the sun disappeared, we would still have a source of light for the next 8 and a half minutes, and so nothing would actually begin to get colder until after those 8 minutes. The rest of the solar system however (everything further out than us), would have a longer source of light than that we have once the sun disappeared, and so the solar system would, slowly, get colder from the center to the outside reaches of our solar system.

When I say slowly, I mean it would take several hours.
