If you are referring to the deepest parts of the ocean, where we know least about, then I draw your attention to the Mariana Trench, which is nearly 7 miles deep.

A submarine has been sent down to very nearly the bottom, was about 20m from the bottom i believe, things like colossal squids were confirmed on the way down, but monsters? Unlikely.

If there were true monsters such as megaladon etc in the ocean, then carcasses, or bones, or something would have washed up on a beach somewhere. That's how the colossal squid were first confirmed, when a carcass washed up on a beach.

EDIT: At the bottom of the mariana trench, the pressure is unbelievably high, previously scientists believed it would be far too high for any life to survive. However species of flatfish, and other small fish were found down there, thriving. Just figured you may find this interesting.

I think there are loads of massive creature and different types of species yet to be found, I caught a glimpse of this programme the other day and there were lots of transparent creature in the abyss. But we still have lots to explore and if we were to go deeper we would need to craft far more advanced technology because the pressure gets higher and higher the deeper you get....

There is obviously some life-form down there. I think that it isn't anything major though, just a bunch of small critters.

Has already been created. A submarine has been down to the deepest trench on Earth, well, around 20 metres from the bottom anyway.

Google the Mariana Trench for more details.

I doubt they exist, but they're possible.

As for lifeforms in general, I think we've only scratched the surface and there could be some very scary things waiting to be discovered.

I reckon dinosaur aged Creatures might still be alive and living down there.

You get Dinosaur aged animals in rivers/lakes. (Crocodiles) So just imagine what would be at the bottom of the ocean.

UFO's and there is definitively gold down there as for species there will be 1000's of different fish like creatures living down there that are undiscovered. we haven't explored 90% of the ocean there could be another civilization down there, ancient city's are definitively down there.
