How do I reset my message of the day on cod 4. I noticed it changed to "Welcome to Call of Duty 4, where modz own shit!"

How can I get rid of this message as it is annoying and when making youtube videos about the game I do not want it to be on the menu.

1. Move your profile to a USB.
2. Open your profile on a PC in HxD.
3. Search for the MOTD.
4. Change it to whatever you want.
5. Save your profile.
6. Put it back on your Xbox.
7. If you did it right, you should have your MOTD changed to whatever it is you changed it to.

Also note I requested to have my stats reset because they were also f*cked up

Would this reset message of the day too?

I know this thread is old now by a week. But I have finally got round to doing this.

But my question is, can this be traced by Microsoft or anything.

I know Infinity Ward will not give 0 f*cks but will Microsoft be able to track this or anything, as they can possibly monitor your xbox. (Sorry if this is a noob question, this is the first time I have tried to mod something and I hope to make it my last too)

No, if anything, it'll help your profile not get banned. They NEVER banned anybody according to their GPD's.
GPD = Profile Information such as achievments, MOTD, and clan tags +ETC.
