Hipster: Hipsters are a subculture of men and women typically in their 20's and 30's that value independent thinking, counter-culture, progressive politics, an appreciation of art and indie-rock, creativity, intelligence, and witty banter. (Taken from UrbanDictionary)

My Question is: If Hipsters become mainstream, does that mean those who are not hipsters will (or automatically)become hipster? Would the idea of being a hipster become reversed? Meaning that if hipsters become mainstream, those who are not hipsters will be hipsters.. so being non-mainstream will be too mainstream. So.. not being mainstream will result in being mainstream, thus making the original mainstream, hipster? Paradox Much or just a complicated hipster idea?

If hipsters become mainstream, which they won't, life will blend around them. If you care to think of it like "flappers" in the 20's who were woman with short hair who wore "short" dresses and were about avandvancment for woman. Now look at woman. "Flappers" over time became more normal, but I highly doubt hipsters will, due to the majority of people arnt hipsters, its kinda like the hippy faze of the 21's century.

Today, hipsters constantly change to be independent. Because when something a hipster does becomes a trend, they change their ways and are still a hipster.

Hipsters will never become mainstream because if they do they will change
