All the USB slots work with it, Its just Im trying to use a normal headphone jack, I've got two slots for a normal headphone jack and still doesn't work.

An on-board audio, but when we tried using a sound card it didn't work either way

Last question, do you have a custom built computer?

This is where Im not sure as I bought it of an auction website without an harddrive
and had to install windows etc, So I do not know.

Note - This motherboard is nearly or is 8 years old. More than likely, the audio jack has gone bad which could be expected from an 8 year old component.

8 years old or not, the audio jack has NOT gone, I need to know why the tab isn't showing in my device manager.
