I don't know about you guys , but it was EXTREMELY difficult for me to kill Legate Lanius. By the way the difficulty was normal and I had about 15% health , I had to get on a roof , throw several frags at him , and then jump down and use all my ammo from every single gun and beat him down with a super hammer (or whatever it's called). I also had to kill several guards , around 10 or 15 before even reaching him. After I killed him I then noticed the General and I was like "Are you serious?" But the securitrons absolutely devoured him.

Your experience?

There is two ways to deal with legate lanius;
The first one is obviously killing him
The Second being to talk him out of it.

My first choice indeed was to kill him;
I used the Avenger Minigun + Fire Ammunition + NCR Elite Ranger Armor to wipe him out pretty quickly, but my health didn't exactly agree.

If you do manage to talk him out of it, the voice acting is quite beautiful and well done.

It's too bad they had to end the gameplay right then and there, but I have high hopes that Bethesda will turn fallout 4 into a major selling game.

I didnt kill him. I speeched his ass like a biotch

*EDIT* Requires 100 Speech but will land you 4 to 5 successfull speech challanges.

I tried that path.
At the end, I assassinated Caesar for fun, and well;
The outcome was pretty funny.

Good, Bad; Still some outstanding endings.
Wether you join Mr house and whipe out everyone;
Join the NCR and take out Caesar;
Join Caesar and take out the NCR;
Or an alternative path, the outcome is very enjoyable
and worth it.

Clearly the best path is joining Yes Man Hes just soo cool and also you didnt have to destroy the brotherhood ;)
