So last night I was watching some YouTube videos on how NASA and other space organizations worldwide have found tons of planets that could sustain life. We as humans are a pretty young race.. but what if on one of those planets the life forms were observing earth as we attempted to observe their planet?

I realize this really sounds far fetched but I have seen some far more ridiculous posts in here.

Discuss?

We never know till it happens. NASA only has so much technology. They just recently found 2 planets that may be able to sustain life.

Well yeah but that's life based on our standards.. Other life forms could live on other planets that fit their needs and if they are technically advance who's not to say they couldn't be looking right back us through a telescope.

To be honest, I would love it for us to find another planet that sustains life. I would want to go into a spaceship and go to their planet and see if they are highly advanced or just dumb as rocks. See, the fact is that, if they were highly advanced, what would they do? Would they take over the world as we know it? Or just kill us all? Who knows what they would do, which also scares me. But if you are still reading this, I will tell you a little story. When I was little, my dad, who still is an "Alien" always told me that when I grew up, I could drink this mysterious blue drink that him and his space friends. But now being 14, I now realized this when I was 12, that there is no drink and my dad is an immigrant from Scotland. So, it was fun growing up to wait for it, but I felt like he lied to me. (Which he did).

Or, what if they already found our planet and is living with us? You would never know if they were an alien or human. What if it was your grandparents, brothers, sisters, best friends. We would never know and we would sit here and discuss this for ours stating our own opinions about how there are other planets and other life forms. But, since I am starting to make this post a little long. I will wrap it up.

So, yes, I do believe that their is other lifeforms other than us.

Yeah I see what you're saying, like we are somewhat advanced as humans but we have no clue what's on the other side of the spectrum. We could find a far more advanced and hostile world.. it's some scary stuff.

Yes it is. What I don't like about this is that it could be like War of the Worlds. They could have already planted themselves underneath us and then we won't expect them coming. They would be able to pop up and annihilate the entire human race.

I agree, in a less comical sense. I doubt anything like that would happen but in the sense of an invasion.. it's always just lingering in the back of my mind haha.

I defiantly believe in other life forms, but I am not sure if they would be watching us. So many other planets and galaxies , it would be ignorant to think the we are the only life form of existence. I do think that they have a presence on Earth though.
