Hey everyone I have asked if builds were good before but I would like one of you that is computer smart and knows how to make me a gaming PC for my budget.

Well my budget it between $1500 and $1800. I would prefer no more than $1500 but my limit is $1800.
Hope one of you guys can do it if you have the time.
I will be getting someone to build it so I only want parts no pre builts.
I don't need a monitor, or a keyboard and mouse.

Here is a pretty insane build for just over $1500.

do you plan on doing stuff like editing or design?
Also Solve told you to get a GTX 680. I reccommend that you get a Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition instead. Here are some benchmarks comparing the two cards: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

As you can see the 7970 beats the 680 in most games and categories.
Also the 7970 wins in price.

I do not think a 750W PSU is completely necessary for this build. A 650w PSU should be fine but be sure to upgrade it if you do a Crossfire/SLI.

Everything else he did is fine. Be sure to check if you really want 2TB of storage because you could easily save a good $60 by going with a 1TB.

The 750w power supply I chose is of high quality, and is selling very cheap. Leaves room for upgrades.

The 7970 and the 680 are about the same, IMO. He could choose to go with either one.

You could spend more, but performance increases would be minimal. Money well-saved. As for the 680 vs. the 7970, facts > opinions. The 7970 is the better card because it performs better for the price. If you're going with Nvidia, get a 670.

NOTE: Don't use a Ivy Bridge CPU unless you updated the BIOS with a Sandy Bridge!

That's for older boards that need an update to support Ivy CPUs. H77, B75, Z77, and Z68 should be compatible out of the box.
