I am looking to get a new HDD as the one i have now is almost full, I will be using this for recording on to.

It's not as if it matters that much because they're pretty much identical, but I'd go for the Seagate if I were you. Generally Seagate Barracuda is the best bet on a budget, and Western Digital Caviar Black if you have a lot of money to spend.

Agreed not much of a difference but I personally like Seagate more.

I would go with the Seagate. They are reliable.

Get the Seagate but if you do know that it won't come with a SATA cable so make sure you have one!
