Hey guys, I have a 3TB hard drive but because it is in MBR format it only displays 2TB, which means i need to convert it to GPT so i can create the seperate 1TB partition. The only problem is i only have one disk and my OS is installed onto the hard drive. So i somehow need to convert the HDD without getting rid of my OS and other informatiom. Any help will be appreciated. Thnanks

It is impossible to format a hard drive without losing data. You'd have to temporarily store your data on another device.
