Hello, currently I have wireless internet throughout my house. The range of my router is not very good at all. I was hoping to be able to get a new router and place it somewhere else in the house, or at least get a new router, or place my original router in the middle of the house. Would I be able to plug a router into any cable port? The router I have has the black cable with the one prong in it. I think it is called the coaxial cable. Well that comes from a port in my wall and just connects to my router. So would i be able to hook up a router from any coaxial port in my house? Also, does anyone recommend good wireless routers? If it is possible, try to stay under $100. Thanks!

Buy a wireless extender for your house and it'll re-broadcast your existing signal further. Way under 100 too.

yeah I have a wireless extender, but it is very buggy. Like sometimes you can connect and other times you can't and it doesn't work on most mobile devices.

Probably just the one you have is dodgy then, mine gets like that sometimes, i just have to stick a pin in the master reset and re-configure.

Yeah definatly, My wifi range stops half way through my house, so i've got an extender just inside the original range and it means i can get full house wifi so yeah it will.
