[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] this is the minimum processor i would recommend going with for a LGA 2011 build because if you go lower to the 3820 then u may as well get the 3770k on LGA 1155 because its better

There are only 4 CPUs you can buy for it.

The i7 3820, 3930K, 3960X and the 3970X

Goes from less powerful>more

They have a larger memory bandwidth for Crossfire/SLI
Larger L3 caches than standard CPUs
Support for quad channel RAM

and more.
