So.. I could be dying, but believe I am alive it's just I'm dreaming of a new life & my old one doesn't exist? Like reincarnation Except of the mind. That's really cool actually. Too bad we'll never know until the day.. Unless the day has already happened and this is the dream?O.o

This theory actually interests me. This seems somewhat like the whole 'afterlife is a massive dream with all your desires' theory, but regardless it's very interesting to think about, whether it be true or not. Could have something to do with why people feel calm when they're nearing death...or not, but still. I like this theory.

I'd hate to be arguing but every theory must take criticism and so here is mine:
I will disregard the fact that you copied everything from:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
word for word but meh..
(you could of at least quoted that you did so or expressed such through your own means)
The moments before you die you're in fact unconscious, you're brain isn't taking in any information from surroundings etc; similar to that of a comma but lets disregard the Glasgow Coma Scale for now..
People have entered commas that have lasted numerous years and felt the time period to be instantaneous- As your body isn't able to recollect the events between the start and end of the comma. This is similar to that of the state prior to death however, there is no recollection afterwards as your brain wouldn't be functioning at all (considering you'd be dead)
Although some people say otherwise you don't dream while unconscious and especially not in the level of unconsciousness you reach prior to death nor in a comma.
So you don't dream at all however, in a dream you don't experience physical pain as such and your statement of (well not your statement, the guy you copied from) "then you could enter a lucid dream state. A state in which you can control your environment." Well, feel free to jump of a cliff and tell me you're controlling your environment.

I like the theory, but there is just one thing...
You have had to be alive, to die. So how would we know if we were alive, or if we were dead if this 'Seven Second Theory' is true?
