Well, I recently had a problem with my computer, Where if I turned on my computer, and clicked the taskbar, after clicking the first program it would freeze my task bar, I know found it was skype, so I downloaded hi-jack this and that fixed it, but because I already had it installed and then I tried to re-download it when I re-intsalled skype and Its happened again, and it didn't work, does anyone know how to stop opening skype when you load your computer or anymore, programs which are similar to hi-jack this in which I can try?
Would be a great help.
-Thanks,
Tim.

Im sure there's an option when installing skype where it asked if you wanted to start it when windows launched. I'm not sure if its still included, otherwise, there should be an option in tools where it enables you to control when skype launches.

Does it say "explorer.exe has stopped working" or does it just hang when Skype opens?
