Just most installers require you to restart after its done as it wont be able to do it while the device is being used. So do none of the mobo usb slots work?

Nothing as in the entire PC, or just everything as in nothing you plug into the USB ports? Some motherboard manufacturers sites will have drivers for USB hardware which may solve your problem.

There are USB ports on your motherboard, and they need drivers to make them work, so the people who make the board will have them on their site.

you gotta get into your system boot options but your computer is obviously unaccessable to it which is a major problem for you as if the manufacturer aint installed it by accident ( common ) then you have to send it awaya nd they will either install it, try to install it , or just give you a new one just make a reason and say you badly need it for work or something and they will have a new one sent out the day after they collect it...
