Is this the first time you ISO mod a game?
If it is then clear system cache and try it again.

Remove all of your save games from your gta and it will work, I had the same problem

Clear your system cache, install the game then update after - simple.

If you are on TBoGT then do what he said and delete the gamesave. Clearing the system cache doesn't do much but it's always worth a shot when something isn't working properly. If it is still freezing then you probably replaced one of the files with the wrong one or the mods you have are not compatible such as the map mods and the common.rpf, ect.

If it keeps happening use a different common.rpf what mods are u using
