I call it' Call of Judgment '

Its nothing like the previous gears of war. People like you and Halo fans pretty much took it over and constantly use the 'B' button, which was really unheard of in the previous Gears of War games.

I, a Gear Head, dont really care for it because I dont like Call of Duty or Halo so I would have to say yes, YOU would like it.

Well, the 'B' button was also abused a lot in Gears 2 as well, where everything was messed up. Otherwise though I agree with you. Judgment isn't a game for us vets, but an excuse for CoD players to pretend they know Gears of War.

OP, if you were decent at Gears 1, at least do yourself a favor and get Gears 3 instead. Judgment has been reduced to an unspeakable monstrosity. Mind you this isn't just my opinion, but 98% of all other vets that i know feel the same way I do

If you want a Gears game, get gow3.

If you want a Cod game, get judgment.


And then hang yourself for buying judgment.

And may I ask how much you've played the first and third (since well, most vets don't really count GoW2, it was a wreck)? The hardcore Gears community has abandoned Judgment weeks ago, and for good reason. It literally took the awesome high learning curve of previous Gears titles and numbed it down to toddler CoD level.

In short, Judgment is never going to be the Gears we fell in love with.

Massive facepalm. Seriously? Judgment is the best? You clearly have that wrong. Real GoW veterans honestly hated Judgment. But since your a CoD fanboy and Judgment was made to cater people like you, I guess I can understand where your coming from.

But in my honest opinion, Gears 3 was the best. Don't get me wrong. I loved Gears 1 and played it all the time (probably has the most time on it too). But Gears 3 was much better. Lag. Yes, but way better than host advantage, better sniping, bounce/strafing is better. I'm sure I can name more but I can't think of any right now.

Eh, I like gow1 better. It's just more fun. Gow3 is full of sweats and retro nerds. Can't hit clips on a game when I get retro'd within seconds of picking up snipe.

well honestly i wanted to start on gow but i was too young to buy it so my bro had cos and i grew on it but i love and always will gow 1

Going back on your word in order to fit in? That's a bit sad.

Well its never too late to start with Gears 3. It's the most accessible of the 3 and still has a reasonably large community online. All it takes is learning the maps and map movement. Luckily, the Gears 3 gnasher is the most forgiving one, so is easy to learn at least the basics. If you could get a copy I'd gladly show some ropes online. I've taught a bunch of guys new to the series how to play on 3. Right Acty? Shinigami goes positive sometimes...

Also age isn't really an issue, I'm only 17 and have played since GoW 1. (though my parents didn't know I had it hehe)
