FreeLobbyKing wrote Okay guys, So lately Ive been seeing a lot of posts asking what a jtag is and what it can do. So I'm here to clear up some of the confusions. Also a lot of people only use their jtags for one purpose and that purpose is for 10th lobbies. News flash a jtag is so much more.

What can a jtag do other then 10th lobbies:

-Run classic emulators such as Gameboy color, Gameboy advance, Nintendo DS, Super nintendo.

-Run custom dashboards such as freestyle dash, Mame..etc

-Share specific game modifications with other people over Xbox LIVE (aka 10th prestige and infections)

-Modify accounts and files on the hardrive

-Modify any game you play on the jtag (whether it be GTA IV or MW2)(Aimbots, walk through walls, teleporting..etc)

-Custom power on led's with freestyle dash (with the new freestyle dash you can choose all led's on your console to be all red, all orange, or no color)

-Turn fan speed up or down with freestyle dash

-Copy entire games to the hardrive and run them off of it(no disc needed afterwards)

-Download trial games from the XBLA and fully unlock the game ( Trials HD..etc)

-Run unsigned XEX files (XEX files are like .EXE files on your computer, but the Xbox is programmed not to run any of these files that do not have a valid digital signature by Microsoft. The JTAG modification allows modified XEX files to run, which can load more modded FF files that contain game settings and configurations.)

-Copy full movies to the Hard drive and never need that disc again

-Run XEX menu (XeX Menu is a program to browse files on the HDD and external devices, and run them. It is labeled by the Xbox as a Game Demo. If you are using your JTAG online and in XeX Menu, it will appear to others as Session Sample.)

-Play original Xbox games without a Hard Drive

-Unbann yourself after being banned by microsoft (How long depends on the Keyvault)

-Add content to games that would not be there normally

-Run Linux (Linux is a free operating system, free of charge and everything. It's specifically made for pc but people have figured out ways to exploit it to other electronic devices. In other words INTERNET on your 360)

-With a XDK you can make and program your own Homebrew applications and Xbox 360 games. If you were to do this on a normal Xbox it would not work.

How to install FreeStyle Dash 2.0:

-Copy the Freestyle Dash 2.0 folder with all the files in it onto a USB device.

-Then you are going to want to go into XeXMenu and go to your USB.

-Go into the Launch folder and copy the freestyle-usb file (NOT the .iso version).

-Then go to your HDD > Content > 000000000000000> C0DE9999

-Now go into the C0DE9999 folder, and then CREATE a new Folder EXACTLY called this: 00007000

-Copy the freestyle-usb file (AGAIN NOT THE .ISO ONE!) into the 00007000 folder

-Then go back to dashboard, go to Game Library > FULL GAMES & you should see Freestyle Dash 1.09

-Simply click on it and it'll run. HOWEVER! If you take out the USB/external HDD and try to run it, freestyle dash will not load.

nice job this should get sticky but thats my opinion

At the request of a fellow member I had a easy step by step direction on how to install the emulators. It takes into account that you already downloaded the emulator of your choice and have it on your USB device.

I actually wanna buy a jtag now lol!
